(LDXH) - On July 16, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), Minister Dao Ngoc Dung witnessed the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the Overseas Labor Center and the Osaka Health Care Association (Japan) on bringing Vietnamese assistant to Osaka to practice and work.
The signing ceremony also included leaders of some agencies and units under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. Overview of the signing ceremony
This activity helps Japan to solve the problem of human resource shortages in nursing, medical care and promote labor cooperation exchanges, vocational training and technology transfer between the two countries.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung said on the basis of the results of the Vietnam - Japan Economic Partnership Agreement in 2012, the Ministry of Labor - Social Affairs had assigned to the Department of Overseas Labor Management to pilot the implementation, however, the number of nominations of this program each year was not much.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung highly appreciated the cooperation program to send interns to Osaka (Japan).
“In June 2017, on the occasion of the official visit to Japan of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding on skills internship (MOC) with Japanese Ministry of Health - Labor and Welfare and it officially took effect from November 1st 2017. This was the basis for sending Vietnamese interns to Japan. In 2018, MOLISA has also assigned 13 labor export enterprises (out of a total of more than 300 enterprises to send interns to Japan), pilot implementation of internship skills trainers go to practice in Japan. Next, the Overseas Labor Center, which is the Ministry's non-business unit, directly cooperated under the non-profit principle with the Osaka Health Care Association (Japan) in sending industry interns and assistant to Japan to practice "- Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized.
Mr. Asuma Sinichi, Ambassador of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam affirmed that
this cooperation will deepen the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
For successful cooperation in the future, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung proposed that the Overseas Labor Center will work closely with Osaka Medical Care Association to select and train the interns to fulfill skills and Japanese proficiency requirements to practice in Japan. At the same time, MOLISA will develop a plan to promote the program to attract employees to register, in which students are considered as children of policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, poor families will be concerned. He also hoped that Osaka Health Care Association will regularly care about benefits, salary, bonus, remuneration, working conditions and living conditions for Vietnamese interns in Japan, which is ensuring compliance with Japanese law.

On behalf of Osaka Health Care Association, Mr. Takeshima Tenmi, President of Osaka Health Care Association, thanked Minister Dao Ngoc Dung for his deep guidance in having the Overseas Labor Center in cooperation with Osaka Prefecture. He also thanked the Overseas Labor Center for working closely with the Osaka Health Care Association in implementing this cooperation.
