Awarding “Medal for the Cause of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs” to Labour and Employment Attache of the ROK Embassy in Vietnam
(LĐXH)- On September 18, MoLISA Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan awarded the “Medal for the Cause of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs” to Ms. Kim Yoon Hye - Labour and Employment Attache of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Embassy in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan congratulated, thanked and acknowledged the important contributions of Ms. Kim Yoon Hye to the development and cooperation in the field of dispatching Vietnamese workers to work in ROK.
Ms. Kim Yoon Hye has made many contributions to dispatching Vietnamese workers to work abroad under contracts, promoting labour cooperation between Vietnam and ROK.
Accordingly, Ms. Kim Yoon Hye has actively promoted the negotiation and signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the MoLISA and the Ministry of Employment and Labour of ROK on dispatching and receiving Vietnamese workers to work in ROK under the Employment Permit Program for Foreign Workers of Korea (EPS program), thereby contributing to increase the number of workers going to work in ROK under the EPS program in 2023 to more than 10,000 workers, the highest in the past 10 years.
She also regularly exchanges and coordinates with Vietnamese agencies to remove difficulties and obstacles in recruiting Vietnamese workers to work in ROK in the shipbuilding industry, contributing to bringing the number of workers working in the shipbuilding sector to date to 1,600 workers with good working conditions and high income.
Moreover, Ms. Kim Yoon Hye has contributed to promoting cooperation activities on seasonal labour between localities of Vietnam and ROK. 16 provinces and cities of Vietnam have signed agreements with localities of ROK, of which 12 provinces and cities have sent nearly 3,000 workers to ROK to work.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan hopes that no matter what position she holds in the future, Ms. Kim Yoon Hye will still support the cooperative relationship between the two countries in general and between the MoLISA and the Ministry of Labour and Employment of ROK in particular so that the cooperation between the two sides will become increasingly stronger.
Expressing her sincere gratitude to the leaders of the MoLISA for being honored to receive the Medal, Ms. Kim Yoon Hye shared that during her time working in Vietnam, she received a lot of support from colleagues, agencies, and organizations of Vietnam in the process of cooperation between the two sides in the field of dispatching Vietnamese workers to work in ROK.
Ms. Kim Yoon Hye affirmed that although her term in Vietnam has ended, she will continue to contribute to promoting friendly and cooperative relations between the people of the two countries as well as the overall development of the ROK - Vietnam relationship./.
