Vietnam wins bronze medal and certificates of excellence at 47th WorldSkills Competition

(LĐXH)- After 4 days of competition, on the evening of September 15 local time (early morning of September 16 Vietnam time), the Closing Ceremony of the 47th WorldSkills Competition took place at Groupana Stadium (Lyon, France).
The Vietnamese delegation won 1 bronze medal and 3 certificates of excellence.
Accordingly, with a total score of 729, contestant Pham Thanh Dat, a student at Hanoi University of Industry, instructed by DENSO Vocational Skills Training Institute, won a bronze medal in CNC milling.

This is the third consecutive time the Vietnamese team has won a medal at the World Skills Competition. The last two times (2019 and 2022), Vietnamese contestants won a silver medal in CNC milling, and in 2022, they won a silver medal in CNC turning. 
In addition, the Vietnamese team also won 3 certificates of excellence for Ho Chi Nguyen (IT network system administration), Nguyen Khoa Hai Minh (CAD mechanical engineering design) and Cu Duc Hieu (CNC turning). 
The first national prize of the Vietnamese team (Best of nation) went to Ho Chi Nguyen in IT network system administration. 
According to statistics from the Organizing Committee, 25 out of 60 countries and territories did not win any medal despite competing in many professions, such as Spain participating in 28 professions, South Africa (22 professions), Namibia (13), Norway (12), Estonia (11)./.
