The signing of the MOU not only strengthens bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Poland but also creates new employment opportunities for Vietnamese workers.

According to the content of the MOU, the two countries will expand cooperation in areas such as labour law, including the development of proactive employment policies for disadvantaged groups in the labour market; retraining for both employed and unemployed individuals; social protection and assistance for vulnerable labour groups; managing migrant labour, preventing illegal work; social security, and the development of a pension system.

This agreement also aims to enhance the quality of human resources and improve the income of workers.

During the meeting with Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Minister Đào Ngọc Dung requested that Poland facilitate the process of issuing visas for Vietnamese workers wishing to work in the country.

Since 2015, Vietnamese enterprises have begun sending workers to work in Poland. As of now, 46 enterprises have been licensed for labour supply, with a total of 7,145 workers having signed contracts.

From 2017 to the present, a total of 3,214 workers have departed, with over 2,500 Vietnamese workers currently living and working in Poland.

Vietnamese workers in Poland primarily focus on industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, and food processing, with key occupations including welders, construction workers, painters, food processors, industrial cleaners, and bakers.

Most Vietnamese workers in Poland have stable employment and relatively decent incomes, ranging from approximately 800 to 1,200 USD per month, depending on the industry and skill level./.
