Establishing a partnership on labour cooperation between Vietnam and Finland
(LĐXH)- The MoLISA and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland signed a Memorandum of Understanding on promoting the sending of Vietnamese experts, skilled workers and seasonal workers to work in Finland.
At the event, MoLISA Minister Dao Ngoc Dung and Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs and Employment Arto Olavi Satonen signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two Ministries.
Thereby establishing a partnership on labour migration between the two participating parties within the respective competences of each party and in accordance with current laws, procedures, resources, and respect for international rules and standards.
The MoU is the basis for sustainable and mutually beneficial cooperation, the foundation for promoting the sending of Vietnamese experts, skilled workers and seasonal workers to work in Finland in a transparent, sustainable, ethical manner and against exploitation and abuse, in accordance with the laws of the two countries.
This Memorandum of Understanding is valid for 5 years from 2025 to 2030, signed in Hanoi on January 13, 2025.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung highly appreciated the cooperation results between Vietnam and Finland in recent times. According to the Minister, the relationship between the two countries is gradually shifting from development partnership to mutually beneficial cooperation and this friendly relationship is increasingly developing well with visits by high-ranking leaders of both sides.
Minister Arto Olavi Satonen said: “Finland is keen to strengthen cooperation between our two countries to help international businesses and professionals connect. We are committed to supporting employers and professionals to ensure favorable conditions for successful recruitment. Finland affirms that it will continue to be a reliable partner in international recruitment, as well as offering a high quality of life and diverse career opportunities”./.
