President Nguyen Xuan Phuc attends the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

(LĐXH)- President Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the 75th Anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022) and met with 450 representatives of millions of people who made contributions to the national representative revolution, on the morning of 22 July in Hanoi.

Over the past time, many guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services have been promulgated and implemented synchronously, comprehensively and diversely, the President said.
Along with that, the beneficiaries of preferential policies were expanded. The preferential regimes are gradually added, perfected, and gradually improved the living standards of people with meritorious services and their relatives.
"Most recently, we have spent over 400 billion VND to give gifts to more than 1.3 million people with meritorious services to the revolution on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day," he added.
Minister of MoLISA Dao Ngoc Dung said the support for war veterans has resulted in significant achievements over the past 75 years, including more comprehensive and inclusive policies.

Currently, there are more than 9.2 million known contributors to the revolution, including 1.2 million martyrs, more than 139,000 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, 1,300 Heroes of People's Armed Forces and Labour Heroes, nearly 800,000 war invalids and 320,000 others who were exposed to toxic chemicals.
Once again, the Minister suggested that the Conference honor all typical examples of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of people with meritorious services throughout the country, represented by 450 delegates at the event./.
