Visiting those families in Yen Bai on the eve of Tet, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung was excited to see that authorities at all levels fully care for the people.
The Minister shared: "Coming here today, I was very excited because Yen Bai province in general and Yen Binh district in particular have changed very quickly, from a district with many difficulties, to now the communes have basically become new countryside.
Yen Binh is also being proposed for the Central Government to consider recognizing it as meeting new rural standards for the entire district. I will definitely give 1 vote for the locality".
According to Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, thanks to the great energy and determination of local leaders, especially the people's will to strive for improvement, the rate of poor and disadvantaged households according to the new standards of Yen Binh district has decreased very strong in recent times.
On this occasion, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung presented more than 300 gifts to policy families, poor households, workers, and children in difficult circumstances in the district.
Before that, he and the delegation visited Vietnamese heroic mother Duong Thi Cuc (96 years old, in Ngoi Bang village, Bao Ai commune, Yen Binh district)./.
