Minister Dao Ngoc Dung and the MoLISA delegation offered incense to the heroic martyrs

(LĐXH)- On the morning of July 19, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung and leaders of units under the MoLISA held a visitation and offering ceremony of offering flowers and incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery, National Road 9 Martyrs Cemetery and Quang Tri Citadel.
This event was held to commemorate the 77th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).
In the sacred atmosphere, before the heroic spirits of the heroic martyrs, the MoLISA delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation as well as unifying the country.
The sacrifices of heroic martyrs have created heroic and indomitable victories for the Vietnamese people. At the same time, it is also the pride of the entire Party, army and Vietnamese people. That tradition of revolutionary heroes has been preserved and promoted.
The Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery gathers 10,263 graves of soldiers who sacrificed on the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the anti-the USA era to save the country.
National Martyrs Cemetery Road 9 (Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province) is the resting place of more than 10,700 heroic martyrs from the main army, local soldiers, militia and guerrillas and young people who fought and served fighting on the Route 9 front and in Laos during the resistance war against the USA./.
