Trên sân khấu nhận giải thưởng Viện hàn lâm Anh lần thứ 70 tối 12/2, nhà sản xuất Jordan Horowitz của La La Land bày tỏ: "Tác phẩm âm nhạc này gắn kết người Anh và người Mỹ xích lại với nhau". Trong khi đó, nữ diễn viên Emma Stone khẳng định: "La La Land là một trong những trải nghiệm lớn lao nhất cuộc đời diễn viên của tôi. Tôi xin cảm ơn giải thưởng BAFTA đã giúp cho ngành công nghiệp điện ảnh đoàn kết. Đây là bài ca về sự sáng tạo. Đây là vẻ đẹp vượt biên giới và khiến mọi người cảm thấy bớt cô đơn hơn".
