Vietnam – Hungary promote cooperation on labour export

(LĐXH) On April, 13, at the Head office of Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung had a cordial meeting with Mr. Ory Csaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in Vietnam.
At the event, the two sides discussed on the cooperation on labour export, and vocational training in order to utilize the potential cooperation match with the demand and benefit of both countries.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung highly appreciated the Ambassador for visiting and working with the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA). He said that the two countries have great potential in cooperation on labour export and vocational education.
Vietnam always respects the long-standing traditional cooperative relationship with Hungary. Hungary is an important partner of Vietnam in labour and social affairs in Europe.
In the period 2019-2022, Vietnamese businesses have sent 1,042 workers to work in Hungary in the fields of agriculture, food processing, construction, industrial production, welder, and chef.
The Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam informed about four areas the country has a great demand to recruit foreign workers, including the automotive industry, nurses, hotel and restaurant services, construction.
The Ambassador said that it’s high time for the two countries to sign a cooperation agreement on labour export. 
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung said that the four occupations mentioned by the ambassador are currently being trained by Vietnamese vocational education institutions under the transfer program from Germany.
The Minister expressed his desire for the Hungarian side to participate in the vocational training process.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement on labour export between the two countries in 2022./.
