(LĐXH)- According to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), in the coming time, it is necessary to focus heavily on perfecting institutions, building and organizing the enforcement of labor laws…
According to the MoLISA, in 2024, the economy continues to face many challenges and disadvantages due to uncertainties and risks arising from ongoing military conflicts in the world. However, exports are forecast to recover strongly in the near future, when world market demand increases.
Domestic demand is recovering. Public investment and private investment are expected to recover. Wage reform in 2024 will create great purchasing power, contributing to economic growth. Therefore, the labour market will recover again.
Since then, the challenges of labour and employment go hand in hand with the challenge of ensuring social security.
MoLISA emphasized that in the coming time, it is necessary to focus heavily on perfecting institutions, building and organizing the enforcement of laws on labour, people with meritorious services and society to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
This contributes to perfecting the general institution and positively contributes to the country's socio-economic development.
The Ministry needs to urgently advise and submit to the Government to promulgate an Action Program to implement Resolution No. 42-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing innovation and improving quality of cocial policies to meet the requirements of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new period; as well as complete and submit to the National Assembly for approval the Social Insurance Law (amended, June 2024) and give comments on the Employment Law project (amended, October 2024).
Along with that, the entire industry promotes sustainable job creation and effective use of the workforce through credit programs and policies to support job creation and labour market participation, with special attention to specific labour groups and disadvantaged workers./.
