Strengthening cooperation on labour between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany

(LĐXH)- On August 23, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha had a meeting with Ms. Kristina Vogt, Minister of of Economic Affairs, Labour and Europe of Bremen State, Federal Republic of Germany.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha shared that from 2012 to now, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam and the German Federal Labour Agency have cooperated in recruiting, training and bringing about 1600 Vietnamese workers to study and work in nursing in Germany.
Vietnamese workers have high incomes and are fully entitled to the same welfare regimes as German citizens.
The two sides also continue to implement the project "Hand in Hand for International Talents" and the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in skilled labour migration and knowledge exchange to bring Vietnamese workers to work in Germany.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha suggested that in the coming time, the two sides should strengthen cooperation in vocational education between businesses, agencies, organizations and training institutions of Vietnam and Breme State.
At the meeting, Ms. Kristina Vogt shared her honor to visit and work with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam, and thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha for taking the time to welcome her.
Ms. Kristina Vogt hopes that in the coming time, Bremen State's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Europe of Bremen State and Vietnam's Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs will continue to cooperate to sign cooperation agreements, thereby promoting training programs for high-quality labour resources; connecting the labour market of Bremen and Vietnam; seek other potential cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Bremen./.
