Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan said that the Vietnamese Government is interested and has many priority policies to support Vietnamese people to work abroad under contracts.
Currently, Vietnamese workers are being recruited by many European countries such as Germany, Romania, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria.... They are working in many professions such as technical workers, nurses, etc.
Up to now, there have been 16 Vietnamese enterprises licensed to organize the sending of Vietnamese laborers to work in Hungary.
Most Vietnamese workers working in Hungary have good incomes and are guaranteed social welfare regimes in Hungary.
He said that in the coming time, the two countries still have many opportunities in labour cooperation that need to be further promoted in order to maximize the potential for the needs and interests of both countries.
At the event, Mr. Juhas Csongor said: Hungary is in the period of population aging and has a need to receive skilled foreign workers, especially in the fields of agriculture and industry.
“Currently, Hungary has agreed to quickly issue foreign worker VISAs to 9 different countries and Vietnam is at the top of that list. That shows the Hungarian Government's priority for workers from Vietnam", said Mr. Juhas Csongor.
In 2020, there were about 2,000 Vietnamese workers coming to Hungary to work, and Mr. Juhas Csongor hopes that in 2022 this number can double the target of 2020./.
