Prof. Dr. Le Quan to be appointed as President of Hanoi National University

(LĐXH)- On June 24, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 998/QD-TTg appointing Mr. Le Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau Province to hold the position of President of Hanoi National University.
Prof. Dr. Le Quan was born in 1974 in Hanoi. He was a member of the 14th National Assembly and has just been elected to the 15th National Assembly in Ca Mau province with a high number of votes.

Mr. Le Quan has a high degree of political theory, a doctorate in management science at the University of Toulon (France). He is an expert in human resource development and entrepreneurship.

He was appointed as Associate Professor in 2009, Professor in 2017.

Prof. Dr. Le Quan has experienced serveral leadership and management positions, including Deputy Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

As Deputy of MoLISA, Mr. Le Quan made a mark with the promotion of information technology application and administrative reform.

He made many breakthrough results in the areas of social insurance and vocational education.

In addition, Mr. Le Quan also made many contributions in proposing and building a welfare support package for those affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
