More than 107 billion VND raised at the 16th “Spring for Children” Program

(LĐXH)- On the evening of January 7th, the 16th “Spring for Children” live TV Program with the theme "Bringing wings to dreams" raised over 107 million VND for children with special and difficult circumstances in 2023.
Speaking at the program, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan shared that in 2022, Vietnam faced many difficulties and challenges but the country has achieved positive results in different fields.
It has been considered a bright spot in socio-economic recovery and development after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Vice President also recognized and praised the noble gestures of many agencies, organizations, individuals, businesses, and benefactors at home and abroad who supported the campaign to help children with special and difficult circumstances.
Through the program, she hopes and believes that the political system at all levels and the whole society will continue to well implement the guidelines and policies of the Party and State on children; cares deeply and takes practical action for the cause of child care, education and protection.
At the program, the Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs awarded certificates of merit to 03 units and individuals with outstanding achievements in child protection and care in 2022./.
