MoLISA Minister directs to support workers facing difficulties due to the pandemic

(LĐXH)- Official Dispatch of Minister on supporting workers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On July 20, the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) issued an Official Dispatch to the Presidents of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities on supporting workers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to strengthen the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures.
The Minister of MoLISA requests:
1. Focus on implementing Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP and Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg in the most urgent way; to ensure the policies to employees, employers and people in a timely, complete and correct manner.
Develop a plan to implement Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg according to local characteristics; actively use local resources and direct the implementation of support policies in the localities; based on the actual situation to promulgate support policies for laborers without labour contracts (freelance workers) and some other specific subjects.
Immediately direct to review the payment of support objects, especially those directly supported by money.
Direct specialized agencies and People's Committees at all levels to regularly update data on results of support activities on the Government Information.
2. Direct the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs to strengthen epidemic prevention and control; prevent and protect against epidemics for visitors. In case of infection in the unit, the head must take full responsibility.
The Minister of MoLISA proposed the Chairman of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities to pay attention and well implement the above contents and report the results to the Government through the MoLISA./.
