Minister Dao Ngoc Dung visits and works in Japan

(LĐXH)- With the approval of the Prime Minister and the invitation of the Minister of Justice of Japan, Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung will lead the delegation to visit and work in Japan from 4 to 8 of September.

As planned, in Tokyo, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung will have a high-level meeting with Mr. Yasuhiro Hanashi, Minister of Justice of Japan to discuss solutions to further promote the dispatch of Vietnamese workers to study and work in Japan.
In which, the two sides will discuss improving working conditions for workers and solutions to reduce illegal residence of workers as one of the top priorities.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung will also visit and work with his counterpart, Mr. Kato Katsunobu, Minister of Health, Labour and Social Welfare of Japan.
In addition, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung and the delegation will also visit and give gifts to representatives of Vietnamese workers working in Tokyo and Osaka (Japan). He will listen to the opinions and thoughts of employees after more than 2 years of being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The delegation will meet with a number of Japanese trade unions to jointly promote the sending of more laborers from Vietnam to Japan to work after the Covid-19 epidemic has been gradually controlled in both countries.
This is the first working trip abroad of Minister Dao Ngoc Dung after the Covid-19 pandemic occurred.
Japan was selected as the first country to show the comprehensive cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan and the top concern of the head of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
This is also a step to prepare for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1973-2023)./.
