Minister Dao Ngoc Dung: “The labour market has been recovering”

(LĐXH)- Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung said the above information at a discussion session of the National Assembly on the afternoon of November 8.

According to the Minister, the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the labour market.
However, after more than a month of "safe and flexible adaptation", the situation is making positive progress.
"Enterprises still have a labour shortage but not serious. It is forecasted that by the end of the first quarter and the beginning of the second quarter of 2022, the labour market can return to normal if there are no complications” - Mr. Dung said.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung also said that he reported to the Government to set up a program to restore and develop the labour market along with social security.
This content belongs to the overall program of socio-economic recovery of the country with major issues mentioned, including: Direct cash support for a number of labour groups, contributing to stimulating consumption demand; support business households and employees with preferential loans to maintain and develop production and create jobs; take care of the development of social housing for the poor, workers.../.
