Minister Dao Ngoc Dung receives General Director of Pou Chen Group Vietnam

(LĐXH)- Minister of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung had a meeting with Mr. Thai Van Tong, General Director of Pou Chen Group Vietnam on August 18.
At the meeting, Mr. Thai Van Tong informed Minister Dao Ngoc Dung about the business performance of 8 factories of Pou Chen in 5 provinces and cities of Vietnam.
Leader of Pou Chen affirmed that the Group is targeting the leather and footwear industry as a high-value industry, not just a labour-intensive industry.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung expressed his pleasure to welcome the leaders of Pou Chen Group to visit the the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and congratulated Pou Chen for standing up to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and making new progress.
The Minister said that the Group's training Vietnamese personnel to replace foreign experts and applying modern technology to replace workers is an inevitable trend.
"Pou Chen needs to maintain a harmonious relationship between businesses and employees, focus on training and improving workers' skills, and ensuring their welfare for long-term dedication to the Group", the Minister emphasized.
The Minister also informed that the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and relevant agencies will continue to have solutions to improve salary and social insurance policies to increasingly ensure better conditions and environment for workers and businesses./.
