Minister Dao Ngoc Dung: Focusing on effectively implementing Resolution No. 42-NQ/TW

(LĐXH)- At a working session with the Heads of units under the Ministry after the Lunar New Year holiday, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung stated that the entire labour, invalids and social affairs sector as well as the entire system need to focus on effectively implementing the Resolution No. 42-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new period.
In particular, it is necessary to focus on training and learning topics related to 5 new perspectives, 6 contents, 11 tasks and 3 breakthroughs.
“In the coming time, the MoLISA will coordinate with relevant agencies to organize a national online conference to thoroughly grasp, deploy, and guide and monitor the implementation of Resolution No. 42-NQ/TW. In particular, we need to focus heavily on institution building," the Minister emphasized.

In addition, the Minister requested that in 2024 and the future, the entire industry needs to focus on building and perfecting the labor market; overcome difficult and existing problems and pay more attention to industrial parks, processing zones or new fields and industries.
At the same time, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung also oriented one of many other key tasks of the industry in 2024, in which he emphasized ensuring the implementation of the Social Insurance Law (amended) after it is passed and prepare maximum conditions towards implementing the Employment Law (amended).
He also affirmed that the whole industry needs to advise so that the pension level will increase by at least 15%, compared to the salary of civil servants and public employees increasing by 23.5%; as well as raising the social subsidy standard to 750,000 VND, at least the standard level equal to 50% of rural poor households.
Reviewing the results achieved by the Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs sector in 2023, the Minister noted that the entire sector has achieved many high results with great spirit and efforts in the context of many difficulties and challenges across the country./.
