Delegates attending the event of Da Nang city participating in the global initiative “Cities safe, without violence", June 2024According to MoLISA, the Action Month will take place from November 15 to December 15, 2024, with the theme "Ensuring social security, empowering and creating opportunities for women and girls to achieve gender equality and eliminate gender-based violence".

Some of the main activities in the Action Month include:

- Developing and issuing guidelines for subordinate units to implement the Action Month at ministries, branches, organizations and localities.

- Organize the launching ceremony of the Action Month in an appropriate form; organize forums, dialogues, seminars, workshops and training courses on contents related to the theme of the Action Month in 2024.

- Organize competitions on the topics of gender equality and gender-based violence, cultural and sports exchanges, etc.

- Organize activities to support victims who are women and children in difficult circumstances; commend outstanding collectives and individuals in gender equality, prevention and response to violence against women and children in general and the implementation of the Action Month.

- Strengthen digitalization in communication through social networks (facebook, fanpage, youtube...) to reach more people, especially young people, students, etc.

- Publish communication products on social security policies; the role of women, gender equality and prevention and response to violence, abuse of women and children, skills to prevent and respond to the negative impacts of climate change, natural disasters…

- Strengthen inspection forms on gender equality and women's advancement in agencies, units and localities./.
