Implement the Agreement on social insurance between Vietnam and South Korea

(LĐXH)- In the Implementation Plan for the Agreement on Social Insurance between Vietnam and South Korea, Vietnam Social Insurance requires close relationships and synchronous coordination with relevant South Korean ministries, branches and partners.

The Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of South Korea on social insurance was signed in December 2021.
This is the first bilateral agreement on social insurance to be implemented in Vietnam, and also the first one between Vietnam and another country and officially takes effect from January 1, 2024.
Accordingly, the Agreement creates favorable conditions for workers of the two countries when moving to work in each side's territory, protecting the rights of social insurance for workers of the two countries.
In March 2024, Vietnam Social Insurance issued an official dispatch to social insurance of provinces and cities guiding some contents of implementing the Agreement.
Vietnam Social Insurance issued Plan No. 1374 /KH-BHXH on May 13, 2024 to implement this Agreement./.
