Hanoi created jobs for over 203,000 laboures in 2022

(LĐXH)- In 2022, Hanoi city created jobs for 203,000 workers, reaching 126.9 percent of the assigned plan, up 13% compared to 2021; consulting unemployment insurance for more than 70,200 people with a support budget of 1,873 billion VND; vocational training support for 1,600 people with the amount of more than 7 billion.
Over the past time, the city has implemented solutions to develop the labour market synchronously from the city to the districts in the direction of modernity, creating favorable conditions in connecting the labour supply - demand of Hanoi with other localities across the country.
In addition, Hanoi is one of the localities implementing policies to support workers and employers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, thereby helping people and businesses soon enjoy the main benefits, as well as contribute to sharing difficulties and stabilizing life.
Implementing Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 of the Government on a number of policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the city has appraised and approved support for 2,610,829 turns of subjects with a budget of 2,659,769 billion VND; supported 2,610,829 turns of subjects with a budget of 2,659,769 billion VND. 100% of approved subjects received support.
In 2023, the Hanoi Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs will continue to promote labour market forecasting and information; as well as improve the operational efficiency of job exchanges.
The Department will advise the City People's Committee to organize a conference to promote the development of the labour market in the city./.
