Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan received First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam

(LĐXH)- On September 25, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan had a meeting with Mr. Ishii Chikahisa - First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, along with a number of management unions of Japan.
Expressing his thanks to Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan for welcoming the delegation, Mr. Ishii Chikahisa said that the Japanese Government is reviewing the program for technical intern trainees and specified skilled workers to make this activity more effective.
Before submitting it to the Japanese National Assembly for verification and approval, ministries and branches will give their opinions and have an official draft.
Therefore, at this meeting, Mr. Ishii Chikahisa and the Japanese management unions wish to listen to consultations from the MoLISA on amending Japan's Foreign Internship Program.
In response to the Japanese side's proposal, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan emphasized that up to now, Vietnam's legal regulations related to sending workers to work abroad are quite complete, including strictly and specifically regulate the responsibilities of the dispatching enterprise, conditions of supply contracts, and the revenues of the dispatching enterprise for workers...
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan, in the first 6 months of 2023, there were more than 35,000 Vietnamese interns going to Japan.
It is expected that by the end of 2023, the number of Vietnamese interns and workers working in Japan will be 75,000-80,000 workers (exceeding the number of 68,000 workers in 2022)./.
