36.5 million people affected by COVID-19 have been supported by Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP

(LĐXH)- After more than 1 year of implementing Resolution No 68/NQ-CP, Vietnam has supported nearly 36.5 million workers, 394,000 employers and 500,000 business households with a total amount of 45,600 billion VND.
On December 26, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) held a conference to review the Government's Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP on a number of policies to support those facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Deputy Minister of MoLISA Le Van Thanh, in the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government agreed to direct and operate from the beginning of 2021 to resolutely implement the "dual goal" while controlling and preventing the pandemic and recovering and developing the economy.
He said that Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP was issued quickly and in a timely manner. That showed the close coordination, unity and deep concern of the Party and State in taking care of the lives of people, employees and employers before the impact of the pandemic.
Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh said that inspection and supervision are focused right from the policy formulation stage in Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP.
Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh said that the support policies under Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP have basically fulfilled the set targets and have supported a large number of employees, employers and people faced difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic./.
